Falkirk Cemetery & Crematorium, scotland

Falkirk Cemetery & Crematorium

Falkirk Crematorium is situated within the peaceful surroundings of Camelon Cemetery.

The crematorium was extensively refurbished in 2017 to modernise the facilities whilst retaining the original character of the building, which first opened in the 1960s. The roofing, flooring, heating, wiring and plumbing were upgraded, and a new family room, improved audio-visual system, and additional public toilets were installed in it.

The crematorium has one chapel, which is open every day all year round: 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am-12pm on Saturdays. On Sundays the chapel is open 1pm-4pm (May-Sep.) and 1pm-3pm (October-April.) The Book of Remembrance is also open during the same opening hours as the chapel.

The Garden of Remembrance at the crematorium is open all year round and visitors are welcome to lay cut flowers on memorials.
