Boston Crematorium in Lincolnshire, is situated within a beautiful 19 acre site with lawns, rosebeds and a rich variety of trees, plants and shrubs.
The quiet and cosy chapel at the premises can be reserved to hold a funeral service or can be used by bereaved families to mourn or reflect on the lives of their loved ones.
The chapel can accommodate up to 80 guests, and there is additional room available for larger groups. A top quality digital sound system can help families source and place any music of their choice. An organ is available for use at the chapel if the family wishes to have live music for the funeral service. Music and video content for the service need to be discussed and arranged in advance.
There is a also a screen at the chapel for photo or video tributes. The funeral service can be webcast and live-streamed across the world for relatives or friends who cannot make it to the service on the day. The speaker system will relay the service to the outside the building for large crowds who may be standing outside. A hearing loop facility is fitted in the chapel for those who have difficulty hearing.
Those who wish to organise refreshments or a reception can do so at one of the many cafes or restaurants in the nearby town.
Some memorial options on offer include a granite memorial bench plaque, memorial tower plaques, granite wall tablet or leather recordia panels, amongst others. Families can record an entry into the Book of Remembrance which is on display at Boston Crematorium – there is also a searchable version available online.
Car parking facilities and toilets are available at the crematorium, as well as a waiting room and disabled toilets.
