You were simply everything,
Grandmother, daughter, mum,
Instrumental in our lives,
In what we have become.
It’s difficult to see the void,
Where once you will have stood,
But the gift of love that you gave us,
Filled our hearts with only good.
And though you’re gone not to return,
Can we really be that sad,
For all the joy and love you brought to us,
We were blessed and so should all be glad.
So we will never truly part,
We will always be together,
And the love and memories that we’ve made,
Will last with us forever.
