Gone away,
Lost to me,
Here no more,
The cost to me.
Short goodbyes,
Long memories,
Broken hearts,
They’ll never ease.
Fun times done,
Dark times arrive,
Just a struggle,
To survive.
But the thoughts,
Of all we did,
Silly adults,
Sillier kids.
How can I cry when
you made me smile,
If only for,
A little while.
The story’s over,
All is done,
But true happiness,
Is what we won.
