Dad I miss you, can you hear,
At times I know, I feel you near,
The moments when I feel your heart,
Despite the fact we are apart.

Dad I know that you were good,
Did everything that a dad should,
And then went on to do some more,
My dad, the man I still adore.

Dad I realise the change,
You are gone, and it feels strange,
Sadly it just had to be,
Where once we two, remains just me.

But I will never be alone,
You have a place in my own home,
A place where we will be together,
For you’ll live in my heart forever.
