How sad we feel as we stand here,
Without you at our side,
The days have all seem endless,
All the tears that we have cried,
For though you blessed us for a while,
Your smile lighting up the room,
Sadly you have left us now
a life taken too soon.
The time we had, well it was brief,
But we were never long apart,
Sadly though you’ve gone away,
Breaking so many loving hearts,
We’ll think of you and smile those times,
And recall your favourite tune,
As we sing to you a melody
of our child, a life taken too soon.
