Always, my friend
By Funeral Inspirations
This poem is about saying goodbye to great Best Friend. Always first, a true great friend,
Always the best, until the end.
Always, my friend Poem Lyrics
Always known to have a laugh,
Shame you didn’t always bath.
Always late to any party,
Though your excuses they were hearty.
Always last up to the bar,
As if the walk was way too far.
Always last offering to drive,
As if no point to be alive.
Always last to give a smile,
It often took the longest while.
But always first to fight our corner,
Though we’d try our best to warn ya’.
Always first with chosen words,
Though at the time they’d seem absurd.
Always first to be so kind,
And you never seemed to mind.
Always first to make us smile,
When you joined in, much more worthwhile.
Always first to stand up tall,
To pushback, for one and all.
Always first to join the fight,
Even when you said they’re right.
Always first, a true great friend,
Always the best, until the end.
And now you’re first to go away,
Damn, what a disastrous day.
